IOSONO GmbH and Fraunhofer Institute for Digital Media Technology present their newest audio production tool at the 124th AES Convention in Amsterdam
IOSONO GmbH and Fraunhofer Institute for Digital Media Technology IDMT show their brand-new development – the next generation of IOSONO® Spatial Audio Workstation (SAW). The object-oriented surround panning and mixing plug-in exclusively for Steinberg`s Nuendo 4 will be presented at the Fraunhofer booth 2217, and in special product shows on Monday, May 19th (12 a.m. and 4 p.m.) at the Steinberg booth 1910.

Multimedia-Box with Extra Features
Prototype of IDMT and Motama presented at
e/home trade show in Berlin
The Multimedia-Box combines CD/DVD player, TV/radio receiver
and networked home-server controlling in one device. For the
first time, metadata technologies, developed by Fraunhofer
IDMT, have been integrated in the application. The result
is a home entertainment gadget that assists the users with
smart features.

IFA 2006: Multimedia Dome
360° vision and 3D sound in the first digital dome
cinema with natural spatial sound
Youre lying back comfortably in your seat, and you can
hear it before you see it. It starts as a quiet humming sound
over to your far right, gradually swelling to the deafening
noise of engines coming closer and closer. And then you see
it: a gigantic spaceship directly above your head. That could
well be the cinema experience of the future.
